So I have decided that reading Boondock Saints slash fics (or any slash fics for that matter...) is less than a good idea at work... lol. The last thing I need is to have my account audited and for them to find that I read slash whilst being paid for it. Lmao... Bleh... So... much... caffeine... Kinda... twitchy. Coconut creamer is the tastiness.

So the futon didst not come today... Well yesterday to be precise, but it should (hopefully) get here somtime today (Tuesday). Yay!

Still searching for the perfect doll head for Ophelia... no luck yet, but the search continues...

So back to the dentist  on Wednesday... Britt for fillings and me to have my teeth cleaned and make appointments for fillings, crowns, caps, root canals, etc. Oh fucking joy. Ah yes, and I have to make an appointment for my wisdom teeth to be ripped from my head in a rather un-Repo-esque fashion... or so I hope. Bored and at work. I have a half an hour until I can take my lunch. I'm sleepy and want a nap...

On the much brighter side of things, Britt and I get bikes on Friday. And a couch. I am so excited I could just pop. We are also going to go out Friday night, probably to Rumors, because hey, how many Friday the 13ths are there in a year??? They're practically a holiday unto themselves. Or at least they should be. Anywho.

It looks hopefull for me getting my CNA in April. It's longer than I wanted to wait, and I'll be in school besides, but hey, I'll take what I can get. Oh yes, and here comes more brightness, I don't have to use my parent's tax info this year on my FAFSA. I can file it on March 1st, the very last day to file for Fall 2009 and since I'll be 24 on that day, I will only have to use MY tax info. YAY!!! I am excited. Mwahahahahaha. Ahem.

And so today begins the presidency of Obama. Hopefully, the next four years will be an improvement on the past eight... People are hopeful. I am hopeful. There are so many things that could be done and should be done. There is so much to do. Will there be people to do it? Will the people step up and take back their rights that been chipped away bit by bit by a foolish former president and a lazy, complacent America? Will we ensure that our voices are heard? Or will we become even more complacent than when we allowed our rights to issues such as abortion and equal marriage to have little slices here and there removed? The little slices that have added up to big slices. The big slices that have allowed things like Proposition 8 and partial or total bans on abortions to become not only tolerated in some states, but written into their constitutions as LAW. Will we still allow the patriarchal religious few to decide what is right for the many, religious or otherwise? Or will we finally attain the elusive balance that is true separation of Church and State? We will have to see. We will hope. And we will still have to continue taking stands, marching for and protesting against those things that we want to see come to fruitation. Otherwise, we are doomed to repeat our mistakes and all those things our foremothers and forefathers fought so hard for will be lost to us.

Watching Britt play silent hill 4: the room... Kinda bummed out today because I'll not be able to take classes this quarter... sigh. At least I'll be able to get my CNA (hopefully). And I'll be able to craft and stuff... not much consolation, but at least I tried. I'm set back yet another quarter til I can apply for the RN program... sigh. I feel as if I'll never get there. Bleh. I kinda just want to go back to bed... muur.

So! Back at work again. I have an hour to kill until lunch time... I don't feel very good. Again. I don't wanna go to the doctor over a cold or something, but I'm seriously sick of my skin hurting all the time. Not so pleasant.

On the bright side! I crocheted (is that how it's spelled???) a scarf yesterday. I am so proud. Next, I think I shall attempt a tote bag from the lovely AntiCraft book Britt and I purchased the other day. I am excited. I think I shall make it grey... with green lettering on the back with the recipe from Macbeth's wyrd sisters, and the apothecary pattern on the front. ^___^

I also made my first little wall hanging thingy from one of the antique pics I had. I shall post a picture of it... thanks to knickertwist for inspiration and ideas.

I think tonight will be a snuggle up and watch movies kinda night. Britt and I rented a couple of movies and a game... Silent Hill (no, I can't remember which one...) so I think we'll dive into those tonight if there are no objections or previous plans...

And people wonder why I HATE, LOATHE AND DESPISE dubbed anime? OMG. Dubbed Bible Black is so terrible. SOOOOOO terrible I am tempted to watch it in Japanese with SPANISH subtitles. Just so I don't have to listen to the absoluely APPALLING, sorry excuse for voice actors that the English speaking world tends to produce. OMG.
